Sources tell me that there are serious proposals to Orlando
Jai-Alai from various Basque interests seeking to make OJA a showplace
of Basque culture.
These would include upgrading the fronton, importing more players,
adding training facilities, restaurants, a Basque cultural center
and more. I am told that the operations are self-funding, do not
involve sale of the property, and that additional investment by
OJA would not be necessary.
