I have meet the guy, and he represents the Basque Government
who will put up 1/2 the money to fund a jai-alai court and fronton
with a Basque restaurant. They would also use it as a home ground
to showcase the Basque and improve relationships with our country.
Jai-alai is only the beginning.
Plans went sour in Orlando, and now other alternatives are being
sought.
Can't say more than that right now. Lots of things need to happen
for a new fronton to get built, and it is probably a long shot,
but you never know.
