I will tell you all exactly what I was told by someone, and
whether its true or not...well...perhaps so...not sure.
Last year, some overseas investors evidently approached OJA management
with an idea to spend 2 million to transform OJA into more of
a Spanish and basque atmosphere, as well as a full scale remodeling,
including a basque restaurant and more jai alai, as well as other
things. Evidently, OJA turned it down. These investors were not
looking to buy the place, and I was told they wanted nothing,
but I find that impossible to fathom. I would assume they would
want some small cut of the pie, but I do not know. Either way,
it does raise eyebrows, huh?
