Juggling not supposed to be a foul anyhow

While I agree that the juggling issue is the most inconsistent of the rulings, the reality is that most of the time when it is called correctly (as in a NON-call) then people get all upset. The rule is clear:

"JUGGLING/HOLDING RULE

The juggling of the ball will not constitute a foul except in the case where a player holds the ball in the basket more than the required time; the required time to be decided by the judges."

So if a player juggles but does not break his rhythm then it should not be called. But it almost always is and that is wrong. When a player juggles and it is clear to the audience but he stays in motion and returns the ball, the audience goes nuts but that is a correct no-call.

Unfortunately the frontons have been calling it backwards for so long that people assume any juggle is a loss of point.
