Why not see if you could buy out the Tampa Jai Alai license and erect a fronton in the Ybor area of Tampa, include a card room and telewagering, and hope for the Slots to go statewide? Sort of what the Tampa Jai Alai people are doing now..waiting, but now that I hypothetically have the money, the card room and Telewagering might allow a fronton to survive. Let's face it, in today's market, a stand alone fronton operation is doomed to failure...different gambling patterns and interests than years ago, as witnessed, with several notable exceptions, by the general decline of the paramutuel wagering business.
