Re(1): How many different paths to victory in a superfecta game?

Craig, or anyone, have you ever encountered a superfecta scenario where a meaningless playoff point can occur. I saw it happen only once at Dania about two years ago. I don't remember the exact way it came about but one team played another in a playoff point and it did not affect the outcome of the game.
