Re(1): Points double after 1st round strategy.

My brother always thought that Lecube from Bridgeport used this strategy.
I think players just try to get as many as they can when they are on a good run.
You would really have to think you are much the best in a given game to employ this stratgey because there is no guarantee you will win the 2nd time up.
Also - how many places and shows would you give away by tanking a point in the first round just to get up earlier in the 2nd round and be on odd points.
