I have never liked the 3 team place and show playoffs.
Example: 2,3, and 4 each score a point and post 5 runs a perfect
game. Playoff starts with 3 serving to 4, say the the 4 wins the
point and then loses to the 2. The 2 and 4 now play for place
and show and the 3 is eliminated. It is the only time in quinella
jai-alai when the losing team stays on the court. Why not let
the 3 come back up after the 2 beats the 4 and continue the playoff
to 7 points.
