They stop doing it because it wasn't fair for the early game players.I
remember, Elorrio, who was a star of the game, had a couple of bad
weeks playing against Arra, Michelena etc. Then he went to the early
games for two weeks, and of course he dominated, but for two weeks
he wasen't only making a much biger salary than everybody else
he also took all the bonus money from the early game players. And
at the same time Orbea [for example] who is a very good player
went to play late, he was making a smaller salary, and he wasn't
making much bonus money because he was playing against Arra, Arriaga,
Michelena, Kent etc.
