In my opinion, if a game is going to be played to nine points,
it doesn't matter if it's singles or doubles. The nine point game
does make those "unplayable" number combos a little
more playable, and thus makes handicapping a bit more interesting.
What I'd like to see, though, is all games in a performance played
to the same number of points.....for the simple reason that when
the game is to nine points, my teams always seem to be first and
second when the first team reaches seven.....and then I lose.
