That Quik-Bet slip reminds me of the old days of the Pick-6.
On jackpot (typically $100,000) forceout days, syndicates of bettors
would set up card tables in the lobby at Hartford, filling out
thousands of those Pick-6 betting slips.

the ground rules, i,e., who makes the choices, who holds the money,
