I was never part of a group playing for one of those big jackpots.
I did come damn close to nailing a pick six at Bridgeport by myself,
though. I made eight bets (1x1x1x2x2x2), hit 4 of 6, and was at
game point in the other two games. Naturally, the consolation
payout was for 5 of 6.
As for pooling money with friends and betting more numbers, yeah,
I've done that.....mostly because a good friend of mine likes
to bet really small, not even enough to cover his own numbers
for $1 a combo. I won't mention his name, though......not even
if you ask me 60 times.
