#23 - Spotting the chic-chac: How do you do it?

After the picada, the chic-chac has to be the coolest shot there is. I can see it's coming, but I'm not quite sure how I do it. Certainly, I can see the situation to throw it present itself, I can see the thrower 'assume the position'. But, then what?

What is the particular action the thrower uses?
Is it telegraphed, or am I just sensitive to the opportunity?
How hard is it throw correctly?
What kind of errors can the thrower make, e.g., too high, too low?

And, why do people holler "Chula!" if it isn't? Do they think a chic-chac is a chula?
