My experience in the Tampa area is that
all of the local parimutuel operations
shut down for jai-alai between 10:45
and 11:00 in the evening
I believe this is probably true for most
parimutuel operations elsewhere.
Of course, this hurts the pools for the
later games. Those who advance wager are
doing so in the exotic pools. Many of these players are playing
"catch-up" and
so are hoping to hit an exotic that will
allow them to do so.
Of course, many players don't bet W-P-S
to begin with.
