Well the way I understood it based on others who received and used freeplay at Dania is that you don't have to SPEND any money but you do have to put $ in the machine....then you can use the freeplay. So if you put a $5 bill in there and have $20 worth of freeplay....you could do 20 spins at $1 each and after that you still will have AT LEAST your original $5 in there that you can cash out. It uses up your freeplay first, not your $5 cash. You will actually have that $5 plus whatever you won off those 20 spins, if anything. This is exactly how every MGM casino does their freeplay.....Bellagio, Aria, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay....all of them. It may be a different method than the other places that give you a voucher to insert and just play....but it isn't any worse. You don't have to risk any of your own money either way. The Dania and MGM way just makes you put money in to start....but you play off any available freeplay first. Sure they hope you spend that money you inserted, but you don't have to. Just play until the freeplay balance is down to zero and even if you lost every spin then your balance would be the amount you put in and you can cash that amount out.
