world the player's perception is reality. I have a relative who
went to Dania and got their freeplay and told me the same thing..."they
make me put money in to use it. So I have to spend my own money
to get my freeplay. I didn't wanna spend any of my own money there."
I explained the way it works, to no avail. The perception to them
was Dania makes me "pay" for my freeplay and nobody
else does. Many others surely feel the same way so maybe Dania
should change the way they issue the freeplay when they re-open.
Of course, that person's last statement says it all. They had
no intentions of spending one cent at Dania. They just wanted
to use the freeplay and leave. Lots of people do exactly that.
So if a person with that mindset gets upset at the way Dania does
it and never goes back....no loss to Dania. No casino wants to
cater to the freeplay grabbers that won't risk any real cash in
the machines. But they also don't want too many people griping
about their policies either.
