well 5 figures is only $10,000 a year. I find it hard to believe
that jai alai players average 50k a year these days. They only
really exist as a silly requirement to have a pokerroom from what
I can see. As much as I enjoyed jai alai as an amateur player
and gambler, it doesn't need to legislated to exist in florida
for weird political reasons.
If the fans don't support the game, it should become history,
like the Montreal Expos or Brooklyn Dodgers. Florida people are
not great sports fans in general anyways, and I can understand
that !
