$100K is surely over-estimating it. I'd say you're probably
looking at around $60-70K for the best of the best, with the average
around $30-40K (playing year-round). I'm not sure what type of
compensation there is for those summer tournaments.
Also, you can't compare Goiko to the top player in any other
sport. He is on top where there is what, 500 players world-wide?
All of those other sports have several thousand, if not hundred
thousand, if not million. Not to mention a positive income statement.
