The most antiquated thing I remember was a separate window for cashing tickets and if you had multiple tickets the teller had to figure out the total to pay on pencil and paper. Also, any kind of boxing of numbers would all be separate single ticket punches.

In the upstairs customer service window at DJA they have a camera for people who cash checks that looks like it was from the 1800's, when the photagrapher had to hold up a tray full of flammable powder to make the flash go off. lol
