Tiger , isn't this the same thing:
Lets say you are tracking a players batting average for the year.
this are his first 7 games:
0-3
1-3
0-5
3-5
0-4
0-4
2-5
now in his 8th game, he goes 0-9 in an 18 inning game --OR--Goes
7-9 in that same game. Do you count that...Of course you do....Outliers
are part of the average I believe, but I could be wrong. I guess
that is what makes up an AVERAGE.
