Joey/Laca II. Reason why...how do you beat this team? Laca never dropped the ball. So if you play 'keep away' from Joey then it is going to be a long day for you. Because Laca will keep catching everything with ease, and keep putting the ball deep and close to the wall. And if you let Joey catch the ball anywhere from the 7 line forward then the point is probably over. He will throw a remate that you can't get to...unless you start running to the outside as soon as he catches the ball. But do that and he can drop it inside and you are toast. Everyone thinks of Joey as the remate king....but really he was the master of putting the ball where his opponents are not. And he did it without holding the ball either. And don't expect to score many points by Joey dropping the ball either. Because not only was he great at court positioning, but his catching was excellent and usually so precise that he would catch bullets and the ball wouldn't even make a sound when it entered his cesta. Also, forget about making Joey rebote to get on the offensive...because his left rebote was perfect and he is more likely to score with it than you are to get an advantage by making him rebote. So I don't see a strategy where you can exploit any weakness against the team of Joey/Laca...because they don't have any and as a combo they would be deadly.
