It's supposed to assign post positions with a totally balanced mix of:
partners
opponents
posts
Urban legend, or is it really there? If so, who knows how it actually operates?
Does the Player Manager just push a button and 'out they come'?
Is there a pattern to the way the players/posts rotate?
How can one verify that it's working as advertised?
Are there any other special considerations? For example, could all three of the above conditions be met, but Goikoetxea always winds up serving to Rekalde? How would you know?
