"Won previous game" has some meaning, and
could have traction. Could mean positive attitude, top shape today
- a number of good things.
But, what could possibly be the logic behind the doubles-to-singles
or singles-to-doubles thing? Why would winning a doubles game
make you better in singles, or vice-versa?
