If slots (coupled with a pari-mutuel permit) suddenly were
allowed, this would fetch a bundle. In the meantime, it could
be used to set up a jai-alai pari-mutuel operation with no strings
attached. Presumably, poker could follow.
The current owner, Florida Gaming (FGMG), is obviously doing nothing
with it now, but continues to hold it as a 'chip', perhaps
for some ultimate deal.
So, what do you think it's worth?
(BTW, the permit is technically limited to Hillsborough County (essentially Tampa). That means that other Tampa Bay spots like Clearwater and St Pete wouldn't work, as they are in Pinellas County.)
