It doesn't matter what we all think, the general perception to a complete stranger is this is not a nice area, and they will stay away unless it is cleaned up. Security, lighting, signage, some plants and trees all around the huge parking garage they are building can do the trick. They need that trolley from the airport more than anything. I am sure this is all part of the budget. Then the surrounding area will grow if successful - maybe a hotel, restaurants, etc.
