Interesting question. In my short time watching, I assumed that,
being professionals, they would intentionally throw chulas. How
often would depend on the player and the opponent. Not a high
percentage shot, but an absolute winner when it works. When it
doesn't work it's either picked up on the full by the defender,
or becomes a chic chac, or an easy rebote.
I had assumed they are trying for chulas when chic chacs happen.
But is it the other way around?
