Re(1): #329 - What's your experience with Internet jai-alai betting?

You say you haven't used internet betting services and it shows.

Eg: Racebook - about 6 months ago I checked out all the internet services. Racebook had dropped jai-alai completely but hadn't bothered to remove the links for Dania and Miami. But when you clicked on either, they would take you to the wagering module where the listed venues did NOT include jai-alai. Fast forward to today and nothing has changed.

Bottom line: Internet Wagering - Link2bet - Dania - Period.

But with Link2Bet, I hate that the Java interface has to load every time. It is too slow and unless you already have it loaded, impulse betting is impossible. By the time it loads and inits, you always end up with "RACE CLOSED - NO FURTHER BETS ALLOWED".

By way of comparison, the most popular chess sites all have Java interfaces so that first time visitors can play right away without special chess-playing software. But among 'real' players, these Java apps are considered crappy (slow, cumbersome, not customizable, etc) and there are many, many chess client interfaces that you download, install, and then launch instantly for each use.

That would definitely be the way to go for wagering.

Anyway, do you have autodialer code for your Autotote?
