You wouldn't want your salesmen to be on salary. Ideally, 100% commission, which would allow the best ones to really score.
It seems the jai-alai player makes about a third of his compensation from boleto. Is that the right percentage?
Would a higher percentage from boleto (translation: lower salaries) make games more competitive, perhaps to the total detriment of the lesser players?
Or, will the players play for pride and bragging rights anyway? It gets important when you start changing the number of games or performances.
