I've thought for years it should be done away with, but only on certain games. I like it at the opening game, but think it would really fit in better, perhaps if only done on the featured doubles game and singles game at each fronton. I know I'm going to get yelled at, but given the state of jai alai, it's silly for players to come out and salute a small group of live attendees, since 75% of the money is from simulcasting, or +/- that.
