Adjoining posts are more likely to bump each other
off (especially in the first round) so, does this result in fewer
perfecta outcomes, or does Round 2 make up for it?
Also:
Are the 1-2 and 2-1 combos different in this regard, since
they always play the first point and only one of them
can get a point in Round 1?
And, do 1-8, 8-1, 2-8, 8-2 fit this scenario (maybe a little),
i.e., would you consider them adjoining? Or, does the fact that
#8 is the most likely to play first for two points a confuser?
Let's concentrate on the middle posts, since they don't have
those special issues.
