I can't tell you how many of today's players I have heard say
that their wish is not to advance into the feature games. That
they just as soon play and win the earlier games - hopefully not
be a sub later on, and get out of the fronton.
Example, the boleto at Fort Pierce is $48 to win Games 1-4....$58
for a win in games 5-8....the chance to win an extra $10 is not
worth consistently spending the extra hours at the fronton.
Players today, mostly at the "minor" frontons - vitually
spend the entire performance either playing or waiting. Of course
this does not hold true for the very poor players.
