The bad sad with shorter seasons, is that many people have the
attention span of a flea. Without being able to go to the fronton
for several months, many "casual" fans will just forget
about it completely and not return when it reopens.
I do agree about possibly reducing the number of performances
to allow for a 5 day work week. I worked 6 days a week for many
years and it certainly took its toll after a while.
