That's an excellent post, Joe, and very, very true. The 7 and 8 runouts pay the best, especially, when a 4, 5, or 6 places. 8-6-1 always seems to pay well, and it's not difficult. 1 and 6 each have two points, and 8 runs it out. If post 6 wins in play-off, there you have it. I love the 8-5-7. Looks like a signer, and sometimes pays like one, but its a run number. 8-5-4 is my favorite. Almost always pays well. I generally leave 6 run out out of my bets...6/12/45, 6/3/125 and 6/4/123. Not many combos, and all are kind of easy...just depends on if post 6 is a weak team.
