Well, not being an authority, of course, It is just a feeling I have but I don't recall ever seeing a backcourter as a singles champion in all the stats I've read concerning the various Frontons and their records. The number I've seen is limited though. I'd still think a front would be better at singles though, strictly from a standpoint of serve, rebote and foot speed. Although, watching some of those front guys tryna handle Elizegi's serve when he's "on" is a pure delight.
