I never really liked singles (betting or playing), but Juaristi
was always a lock in the Milford singles.
Milford had a player named Irusta (retired because of a back injury)
who was a very good player all around but I loved his singles play.
Lasa was a good bet at Hartford (did I say that out loud) as was
Bolivar & Cachin (MIL/BPT/HTFD).
Doubles are really open, because you can play great one day with
someone and lousy the next.
I will say this I saw XABAT (Chris A's boy) dump the pelota everytime
he played with Richard.
