I think you are wrong, there is good money to be made on place and show betting. you need to watch and follow the pools. and you can do it very inexpensively. it won't be a $100 killing only a nice $6-12 winner from a $2 investment. sometimes you can hit some good prices, but too many are doing the same thing---waiting until the end and throwing a $1 just to cover.
