Z...I have never played so perhaps my post was not so great
as you suggested. However, I have played a lot of tennis and in
tennis I can't imagine the receiver, standing in the serve box
picking off serves before the ball bounces. Let's for a moment
imagine what would happen if the rule was changed in jai alai...
how difficult would it be for the front court player to take the
serve on the bounce? Would the server change strategy and serve
all over the serve box and not just off the side wall?p
Being a player, you have a distinct advantage over me in this
discussion and I have a great deal of respect for all of you that
are players.
