Guys
The idea of being forced to let the serve bounce before it can
be caught would not work in jai alai. As Armenta mentioned it
is not easy to catch the serve and be able to throw winning shots.
It takes a lot if practice and time to develop this skill set.putting
pressure on the server causes under and overserves
and makes the server think about how to serve to keep it away
from a serve stealing front court player. Actually going behind
the 7 line to receive the serve is frowned upon in professional
jai alai and can be considered disrespectful
