With all the recent negative talk and such as we vent our frustrations,
how about a thread on the heroes of the game we love?
I will start with Benny Bueno. Many people play jai-alai. Benny
is a jai-alai player. And now players' manager and leading the
efforts for amateur play to continue in South Florida. With both
kids and amateurs hoping to get to play pro. And now the amateur
tournament in Mexico. He is a great ambassador of the sport, having
played the game at the highest level against the best in Miami
in both frontcourt and backcourt. He knows the game inside and
out. He is a first class person and loves the game of jai-alai,
his actions show it.
For the above reasons and many more too long to list I submit
Benny as a true HERO OF THE GAME!
