You are correct Inigo and to teach kids on a smaller court is necessary and I overlooked that but also the kids must be instructed on how to properly play jai alai. I still say untrained players not moving more than a foot from the side wall or back courters who let the ball pass them only to make every throw a rebote is not jai alai. There is a strategy and a flow to the game that is not found on the two small amateur courts.
