I had this argument with my former brother-in-law...and lost! According to the laws of physics, the wall will absorb some of the energy from the speeding ball and reduce the speed somewhat. That's physics! I think the fastest speed would have to be as the pelota leaves the cesta either on a reverse or remate. It makes the most sense.
