Looks to be someone with really good penmanship. Im assuming
the line through the player means he is scratched and not only
is there a line through the player but also through the players
stats for that game, so there would be no confusion in including
those stats in handicapping. Very precise. Maybe this program
is an official one that had to be kept on file for some weird
reason.
I remember when tournaments were played at Miami I would often
see Mr. Duffin sitting off by himself with a program and pen in
hand marking down each point and keeping score of the games.
