I first went to jai alai in the very early 80's. Back then, they had separate windows for certain wagers. There was a sign over each window so you would know where to stand in line. And the lines were LONG! On the trifectas, you had to either bet them straight for 2 dollars each, or you could box 3 or more numbers for a dollar. The dollar key bets were not even invented yet! Lol.
