I kinda like that system....seems to me it would work for all tri combos if you needed four points to qualify instead of three. One of the things I like about this system is that it would eliminate those looooong playoffs we sometimes have in the spec7 or spec9 games. Nothing's worse than a really long playoff if your tickets are already dead.
