I dont think Jay is saying that the fronton and the players are cheating, he is just saying something might be going on that is not proper. There might be a case of posting the bets after the game has started and that might have nothing to do with the players or the fronton. The tote company or the company that is responsible for the betting operates separatly from the players and the fronton. Does anyone remember a few years ago what happened at Belmont with a pick six that someone was able to manipulate the betting system to get in a winning ticket after 4 of the races were already run? It would have worked but the people got to greedy and got caught. Why is it so unbelievable that it couldnt happen at jai alai? It probably is the best place to do it, no-one would ever suspect it to be done at jai alai, there is hardly any money anyways, the bad guy might think he could fly right under the radar without getting caught. Think about it.
