I only had the pleasure of watching Danny play over the past 8
years; I didn't know that he started playing in Hartford the same
year I was born!
I do know this, though: the number of fans who have nice things
to say about Danny is impressive, but the number of pros (past
and present) who have taken time to post congratulations and positive
stories speaks volumes. Obviously, Danny was not only a great
player, but also a great man, and a hell of a roster-mate.
Thanks for the memories, Danny. May there be many more like you.
