I remember watching games from the announcers booth at Tampa Jai Alai. My first time up there was after I had already watched thousands of live games from the audience and dabbled a bit with amateur jai alai. Even with those previous experiences I remember the first time watching pre-stike games from the booth and being in awe at how good the players really are. Two shots that left biggest impression were the left side arrimada and the the picada. The view from the booth of an arrimada skipping and rolling down the side wall is something unimaginable from the audience. Secondly, the picada thrown directly overhead as it dips down upon leaving the basket then starts to rise as it nears the front wall only to dive straight downward after hitting it is amazing to see from the booth. The view from above and behind the court was an amazing viewpoint and something Ill remember forever.
