There was actually a dispute between Miami and Dania way back when Dania was built. Apparently the law was that another fronton had to be a certain distance from Miami. I think it was 20 miles but it could have been another number. Miami claimed Dania was within that distance. And it was...if you drew a straight line between them. But Dania claimed that in order to get from Miami to Dania by car, that you had to drive more than that distance based on the roads. And Dania won, so it was built where it is today.
