Top notch choices all. Just goes to show what a great group
we have here. But, for me, one tops the list:
Former A-level amateur, so he knows the game from all sides.
Wide knowledge of most professional sports.
Knowledgeable on the business side, too, not only for jai-alai
itself, but in relation to other sports.
Expert in gambling options and nuances, e.g., point spreads,
betting against the house, pari-mutuels, etc.
Thinks about numbers, costs, etc. No knee jerk responses.
Puts his oar in the water on nearly every topic.
Doesn't make himself the center of the conversation.
Never a harsh word for anyone.
