When Joey came to Dania from Miami it was in his contract that
he be assigned #37. Orbea III had that number at the time but
because Joey was the star OrbeaIII was given another number. Also,
when David came to Dania from Daytona he wanted #99 and was given
that number. Those are the only two players I know of who demanded
a certain uniform number and got it.
Back in the day at Dania the Big Man number was either #62 or
#72, Lance, Salsamendi, Iru and Zaran all wore either 62 or 72.
